In the morning, travel to the village of San Francisco de Sales to begin your moderate 1.5-hour hike up the active Pacaya Volcano. After lunch during the excursion, return to Antigua in the late afternoon.

Depart with your Lanchero for Rio Dulce. Discover the Bird Island, the aquatic garden, and the canyon. After lunch during the excursion, in the afternoon, drive towards Flores Island, the gateway to the Peten region, where you will spend the night.
The wait is over! This morning, head to Tikal, the most majestic of the ancient Mayan cities hidden deep in the Peten jungle. Explore temples, pyramids, and stelae, remnants of a unique civilization that mysteriously disappeared. The visit will be filled with the sounds of howler monkeys and a variety of birds. Enjoy lunch during the excursion before returning to Flores Island.
