Frequently Asked Questions
about our Private Jet Expeditions

Am I in charge of carrying my luggage during the trip?
Arrow

No, we take care of the luggage. You leave it in your room at one destination, and just like magic, it will appear in your room at the next.

What vaccinations do I need? Are there any health requirements?
Arrow

No vaccinations are required. We do however recommend visiting your family doctor before your trip with us and you must be able to walk for at least half an hour, unassisted.

How are our stopovers organized? Is there free time?
Arrow

It depends on what you decide, but we generally offer a full program of visits to give you maximum opportunity for discovery. It is possible to include more free time, or choose to skip a visit to relax during the trip. However, we do schedule full days of visits so you can enjoy as much as you want!

Is English spoken on board? What about at the stopovers?
Arrow

Of course! Our whole team at Safrans du Monde speaks English, as well as the team on board. All of your visits will be conducted in English with your group by local guides. Our experienced tour leaders are English-speaking and have been working with North American clientele for many years.

Do we use the lounges or fast tracks at the airport?
Arrow

Due to the private jet, there is no need for lounge access. You arrive at the airport, go through immigration, security, and head straight to the plane to embark, no waiting involved!

Who takes care of the administrative formalities and visas?
Arrow

We do! We will ask you to provide us with an ID photo and copy of your passport, and we take care of the rest!

What does Safrans du Monde do to help me prepare for the trip?
Arrow

10 days before departure, you will receive a personalized booklet including tips on how to prepare your luggage, the weather to expect, more specific information on the hotels and contact details. Our team will be there to answer any questions you may have!

Where does the trip start, and how do I get there?
Arrow

Our North American clientele has the option to take off from Paris with our European passengers or join us on the first stop on the World Tour, and finish with a 3 day, fully customizable stay in Paris.

Are solo travelers welcome?
Arrow

Absolutely! About 25 percent of our clients travel alone, and leave having made life-long friends!

Can I choose my spot on board the plane?
Arrow

We operate on a first come, first served basis, when you register you have the opportunity to let us know your preference as to where you would like to be seated. Booking in advance ensures you will have both a seat on board and availability in the exclusive hotels we use.
